Report from Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State, North West Nigeria says, the Council is collaborating with 73 Battalion of the Nigerian Army at Janguza, Kano to maintain peace and security in the area.
Our Correspondent reports that, the interim Management of the Council, led by Alhaji Abubakar Suleiman Mai Rogo, accompanied by the Director of Personnel Management of the Council, Alhaji Nura Yusuf Isa Daneji, disclosed this at a meeting with the Commanding Officer of the 73 Battalion Janguza, Kano, Major H. Idris.

At the meeting, held at the Tofa Local Government Secretariat, the Council’s management, expressed profound gratitude for “the continuous efforts of Major H. Idris and his team in upholding peace and security within the local government area.”
“We acknowledged the indispensable role you are playing in ensuring the safety of residents and fostering an environment conducive for socio-economic development
“We are ready to support and collaborate with the 73 Battalion Janguza, under your leadership, in all security-related endeavors,” Mai Rogo said.
In his response, Major H. Idris expressed his appreciation for “the unwavering backing of the Tofa Local Government Council.”
A statement by the Information Officer of Tofa Local Government Council, Abdu Bako Abdullahi says, the meeting concluded with mutual agreement to deepen existing collaboration and strengthen the partnership between the Tofa Local Government and the 73 Battalion Janguza, with a shared commitment to ensuring the safety, security, and prosperity of all residents.
