Second Deputy Chief Imam of Uhud Jumaat Mosque, Naibawa Zaria Road, Kano, North West Nigeria, Sheikh Kabir Bashir says, Allah’s trial awaits Leaders and the Wealthy individuals in the society who have no compassion.
Bashir stated this on Wednesday in a sermon he delivered in Kano shortly after leading Eid-el-Kabir prayers.
The Imam also admonished believers to be grateful at all times and be part of those who give out what Allah has given them.
“Allah has promised to increase the blessings of those who are grateful and thankful for their possessions.
“The rich should help the poor.
“Those who refuse to render help with their abundant resources will face trouble which may consume what they have,” he cautioned.
The Islamic Scholar called on Muslim faithful to strengthen their faith in Allah who created mankind and worship Him with all their heart.
“Today is a blessed day and Allah has given us life to witness this day. Fear Allah for, His greatness cannot be measured,” he further admonished the people.
Sheikh Bashir observed the trend of youthful waywardness and called on the youths to shun drug addiction and become responsible in the society adding that they should pray always and read the Quran for guidance.
