Report from Kumasi in Ghana says, a 26-year-old female Lawyer has died while celebrating Ghana’s World Cup victory over Panama.
According to the Eagle, the newly qualified Lawyer, Sara Araba Tettey, an alumna of the Faculty of Law at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), was one of the millions of Ghanaians soaking in the excitement of the game before tragedy struck.

She tragically passed away after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest.
Reports say Tettey, who was called to the Ghana Bar earlier this year, was watching the match with friends at Standard Hostel, a private student hostel at Bomso near the KNUST campus in Kumasi.
Others who witnessed the incident had immediately rushed her to the KNUST Hospital, where emergency responders spent about 45 minutes administering Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) but she still gave up the ghost.
The sudden passing of the young female lawyer has since spread like the victory of the Black seats, but a sad one.
Observes say, “it again underscores the importance of emergency preparedness when events of such a magnitude are taking place.”
“That was how a day that would have gone down as the best for Ghanaians, turned out one of mourning.”
