Chief Imam of Masjid Al-Aqsaa, Ontario, Canada, Sheikh Hanzla Khan, has admonished Muslim faithful to always prepare to meet Allah at any time.
Our Correspondent reports that Imam Khan, gave the admonition, on Friday, while delivering sermon before leading congregation prayers.
Sheikh Khan, reminded the congregation never to allow investments in worldly endeavors overshadow their preparations for hereafter.
“Investments here and there in this world to make money is okay, but don’t forget we are here for a short time that can be up any moment.
“Be prepared for hereafter and always remember that your creator can call you without announcement,” he advised.
The Imam told the worshipers to be compassionate and do good deeds, adding that those who are hypocritical and selfish in their dealings are losers, irrespective of their five-times-a-day prayers.
He also asked the congregation to examine themselves at all times and repent.
“What are the signs that you are prepared?” He asked.
“Our stay here on earth is very transient and age or position does not determine death.
“At the age of 15 and above you are matured and should not play away your time,” he added.
Sheikh Khan prayed for peace and Allah’s guidance to the people.
