Report from Jos, the Plateau State capital, North Central Nigeria says, suspected phone snatchers have lost their Tricycle to fire.
Our Correspondent reports that the incident occurred at Zololo Junction in Jos metropolis, on Monday, when the two suspected phone snatchers were apprehended by angry youths.
According to the report, during the incident, the suspects’ tricycle was set ablaze by the crowd.
The two suspects survived the attack but sustained injuries and have since been taken into police custody for investigation and necessary legal action.
Security personnel responded promptly to the situation, restoring order.
Residents have been assured that the area is now calm, and normal activities have resumed.
Members of the public are encouraged to remain peaceful and allow law enforcement agencies to handle criminal matters through due process.
