The road is one of the projects by the Federal Capital Territory Administration located in the satellite towns.

Tinubu who was represented at the occasion by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, said it was the resolve of his administration that development must reach every Nigerian, not just those at the Centre.

A statement by the Special Assistant to the President of the Senate on Media/Communication, Anietie Ekong quoted President Tinubu as saying: “Let me say this plainly: the era of starting projects only to abandon them is over.”

“We will fund, we will finish, and we will maintain. From city expressways to rural access roads, every Naira of public money must show up as value for the citizen.

“Infrastructure is the floor on which every other ambition stands. We will keep laying it, district by district, council by council.”

President Tinubu said the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration would reach every Nigerian.

“When we set out under the Renewed Hope Agenda, we agreed on one thing: development must reach every Nigerian, not just those at the Centre. Abuja cannot be a city of two worlds, with gleaming districts and forgotten settlements. This road rejects that divide.

“It connects Gomani, Dafa, and Yangoji to markets, schools, hospitals, and opportunity. It says clearly that the wealth of this nation belongs to all of us, whether you live on a boulevard or a farm track.

“For too long, the strength of our rural communities was held back by poor access. Crops rotted before reaching markets. Young people left because the road out was easier than the road up. That changes now,” he said.

According to President Tinubu with the opening of rural roads, farmers can move produce faster and buyers can reach farms without delay.

He commended the FCT Administration led by the Minister, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike for the supervision, community engagement and quality control which they brought to bear on the commissioned projects.

The FCT Minister, Wike said the road project was awarded less than a year earlier and commended the contractor for the timely implementation of the project and the quality of the road project.
