Veteran Filmmaker, Abdulkareem Mohammed Bags Life-Time Achievement Award

A Nigerian Veteran Filmmaker, based in Kano, North West Nigeria, Alhaji Abdulkareem Mohammed, has been honored with Life-Time Achievement Award. 

Mohammed, who is the CEO, Moving Image Communications Limited, Kano State, Nigeria, is billed to attend the Awards Ceremony scheduled to take place on the 27th of July 2024 at Lighthouse Theatre, Camberwell Road, London SE5 0AY.

A letter of invitation for the Award signed by CEO, SRTV Media Limited, Ogbevire Christian Ashaiku, organizers of the Award, says, Alhaji Abdulkareem Mohammed is being honoured in recognition of his exemplary leadership, standard mentorship, professional conduct and patriotic roles he had played and continues to play in the Nigeria film industry.

“It is our honour and delight to inform you that our team have decided to honour you with a Life-Time Achievement Award at Nigeria Week, London, 2024 which is scheduled to take place at the Prestigious Lighthouse Theatre, 262/274 Camberwell Road, LondonSE5 0AY from July 22 to 28, 2024.

“This is in recognition of your exemplary leadership, standard mentorship, professional conduct and patriotic roles you have played and continues to play in the Nigeria film industry.

“We wish to also use this opportunity to inform you that you have been shortlisted among the panellists of the UK/Nigerian Film Summit designed to address the challenges of funding, exhibition, distribution, productions and coproduction between the United Kingdom and Nigeria at Nigeria Week, London 2024,” it said.

The invitation letter further explained that SRTV Recognition Awards is an integral part of Nigeria Week, London, specifically designed to acknowledge and appreciate patriotic and exceptional Nigerians and Nigerian Businesses in Nigeria and in the diaspora.

“Nigeria Week in London is an admixture of entertainment and business events designed to showcase Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage. It is proposed as an annual week-long event which will take place in the United Kingdom.

“The event will feature an array of Nigerian food, films, art and culture, fashion, and music.

“There will also be an economic summit and an exhibition of numerous Nigerian agricultural produce,” it added.
